Default Snowthrower Shortage

what does everyone think of the lack of snowthrowers available from all brands for the rest of the winter season? Now of course a lot of the country has seen snow since before thanksgiving, do you think the demand will be greater come next fall?
We start to stock snowthrowers in august and always tell customers about layaway, but as always some never learn!

They snooze, they lose. Dealers are hounding us because we are running out of fast moving parts with no more available this season. Did you place a booking order? Uh, well, no but I didn't expect to be this busy.
The industry should get a strong fall season as nobody will want to get caught twisting in the wind again. Of course some will hold off but they take their chances.

We have some Ariens units left over from 2 years ago. If interested we will make a sweet deal.

We were approached with a great offer from Costco overstock and are currently passing the savings on to our customers. Making many new great customers for life.

Already had 9 calls from people looking for blowers today. Not much around anywhere. Ariens actually has models available and would ship in 1-4 days. But the window that's open today won't be open a week from now. Too late in the year to bring snow product in IMO. I'm happy to be sold out at this date. 10-11 days and we'll be into March. Mower shipments will be rolling in.

I do agree that it will be a good pre-season for snow next year. Some of those people who can't find anything now will buy in the fall. The rest will wait until the next big storm and repeat their misery again and again.

Agree!! It's gonna spring hopefully someday :-) but the preseason sales will be up next year, some people will never learn and continue to wait until the next storm..
I had a customer inquire when the summer sale and clearance on snowthrowers wil be:stupid
