Mark Martin, David Ragan, Jeff's other side (for Billie Jo and Kris), a little guy that got to race across the finish line and briefly got to be part of this safety crew, and the only vehicles to be on track on Sunday, the jet drier trucks.

More rain on Monday and we did not go to the track.

Default The Race

Another delay for fog!
MIRace 110.JPE MIRace 027.JPE MIRace 028.JPE
MIRace 030.JPE MIRace 035.JPE

One to go for the green flag...NOT!, cars parked for fog, Michael McSwain and the Wood Brothers pit crew waiting, Kyle Busch going to throw a football around with his crew (he will not be in Atlanta when the NFL season opens).

FINALLY, THE GREEN FLAG!

Sorry to report, the Do-Cut ladies went home on Monday.

Default The Race, continued

We had a lot of action all around us.

MIRace 039.JPE MIRace 040.JPE MIRace 042.JPE
MIRace 048.JPE MIRace 076.JPE

Kasey Kahne, Bill Elliott, and Ryan Newman's pit activity, Jeff Gordon stuck in the mud, and the winner. Kurt Busch doing a monster burn out. Notice all the rubber near the finish line.

I would like to thank Stan and Virgil from Stan's Yard and Sport and Billie Jo and Kris from Do-Cut for taking the time to come to this event. I hope you all had a good time. In our business, we can smile when it rains even though it may have been an inconvenience this week.

To Billie Jo and Kris, I will be looking for that fully race wrapped Montero at the next race. And, I will also be looking for the lone Ohio State clad fan at the stadium in Ann Arbor in November. I assume you guys won the bet, since Jimmie Johnson finished 3rd.

Thanks again,

Mark

Mark,
We had a blast...and as far as the bet goes.....Chrissy lost! I'll be sure to send you pictures of that!
We can't thank you enough for the great trip. It's people like Bad Boy Mowers that keep smiles on our faces.
Hopefully we see you at the Michigan game! If you go, give us a call.
The Montero will be seriously wrapped up for ya!
Have a safe trip home.

Being as the race was delayed for 2 days due to rain, how many people actually attended the race. My salesguy from Michigan and I were htinking about going, unfortunately we had sales meetings, and were not able to break away.

Maybe 30% of the seats were filled. Plenty of room in the stands or in the pit road suites where we were. I'd say the suites were 90% empty. Drove right in and right out.
