Default How's it going?

Just a little curious about how the year is going for other dealers. Any size dealer can post, but I'm more interested in the smaller/rural dealers since that is what we are.

To be fair, I'll go first. Our year has been off since before it began. I think that any recovery that is supposed to be occurring has not found its way to this part of Kentucky.

I am wondering how things are for other dealers, but this is also to vent a little frustration at two bad years in a row.

We are having a stellar year. New sales are way up. Repairs are coming in strong. Customers seem willing to buy stuff this year.

Last year was great, this year not so much. Whole goods are off, repairs are even, or maybe up a bit. Our season started off really bad, but has improved as time went by, but there's just not enough season left for us to pull even with 2013.

Going steady here, not great but not real bad - Sales or down a bit but service is good. Everyone of my sales reps I've spoken with says they are hearing the same thing (sales down but servcie is steady). Unusual to hear that from sales reps as they are usually more along the line of (sales are good overall). It's starting to get dry hear so we are hoping for some good rain.

Were having a good year so far. Sales is steady and service is having another great year. We have also seen a huge increase in ZTR sales this year almost a 70-40 split compared to last year it was 50-50 just crazy. Up sale is not necessary any more most people want the ZTR now.

Not bad here. Slow start with the cold spring. Big ticket ztr sales are off. Overall we are only slightly off last years pace which was a record year.
