Default Shop Broken into

Front door of our shop was broken on Monday morning. Video shows just over one minute from the time they pulled out of the drive way to the time the cops showed up. They also broke into the back storage and stole a bunch of batterys out of repaired equipment (of course they couldnt just take the bolts out they had to cut the cables). If you see any of the following let us know

Ouch, sorry to hear that.
Check craigslist and notify the pawn shops.
Also check recycler places for the batteries.
Unfortionaly its things to come, people do desperate things for money.
One reason I hate storing lots of inventory.
Might consider putting up bars on windows and doors.

Reason we quit posting our location, if you google your "city, state and mower" you end up seeing this forum as a page to visit, no need for the customers to see this forum. try it.

Sorry to hear that! That was a good little hit they did.... sounds like merchandise alone was close to $10,000 sticker, not to mention the building damage. What a pain in the bazooka!

I agree. That is exactly why we need a small "dealers only" section. That and discussion of costs and margins. That is not public business. I understand ranking in google, etc., but the above mentioned topics are not something we care to have in google, in my opinion.

Sorry for distracting this thread...

Amen

We need a dealers only web site or forum. The facebook idea is good but not secure.

we do have a facebook protected group, but there's not much activity in there, guess because it's not setup in a way like the forum with topics and such that are easy to browse.
