Well. We're making progress here. Just had the replacement cameras installed. Light intensifier technology with polycarbonate and cast aluminum housing.

New tools should be shipped next week. Security system goes in the first of next month. Ton of time and $$$ invested, but it will pay off.

what we need, is cameras with automatic, heat seeking tranquilizer darts built in to them, so that by the time the police show up, the perps are still there and they can lock em up.

I've thought about trying to figure out how to wire up some kind of remote gas release that would release tear gas or some kind of knockout gas during a break in. If i put up a warning sign, and they still break in.. not at fault.

There are devices like that. One of the golf stores in the area has one that floods the entire building with (I think) pepper spray when set off. They accidently tripped it one time and had to close down for a while until the stuff disapated.

That's pretty cool. I was thinking more along the lines of sentry-gun technology. There is a guy on youtube who rigged a camera that would track movement and some software to move a paintball-gun and track the camera's movements.

Once the pre-set perimeter is breached, blasto goes about 200 rounds of paintball ammo. HAHA

I prefer gates, locks, more gates, and a good alarm system wired to dial me instead of the cops. Took the police 30 minutes to respond, took me about 3.
