Default Break in and burglary as O's

On sunday night - monday morning 3 or more people broke in to our shop and stole all of our Snap-on tools / toolboxes along with a customer's generator and ransacked the place.

During the same incident they managed to break in to 2 of my customers' trailers and steal all of his handheld power equipment. They also managed to steal a truck and trailer from the same customer which was later receovered in rockford, IL.

Cameras caught some of the action, bad guys actually broke the outside cameras.

They gained entry by backing a truck through our overhead garage door. Pretty bold. Pretty ruthless. Now the fun of insurance begins.

This is happening all over - shops, landscapers, homeowners - and with more frequency than ever. Had one customer in yesterday who's building was broken into and all of his equipment stolen. The prima donna police just hand out a report number - no other action will be taken.

Just wondering since they took your tools are you back open yet? That would suck you have backups in case something happens and they get stolen.

We had 1 box of craftsman tools all set-up. They walked right past it to steal a smaller snap-on box.

I have to give a HUGE thatnk you to Snap-on. My rep brought a set of tools out to me as a loaner until i get back up and running.

thanks for the support. I hope the police catch the perps. before I do, pretty hard to steal someone's stuff again with no eyes or fingers.

well I am sure that if all he has was craftsman they would have take them, but who wants a Pinto when you have a Cadillac next to it.

they probably didn't want to have to spend time taking the broken ones to Sears for exchange before pawning them.
