Turning compressors away or charging for the repair if parts are available. MAT is not honoring any CP warranty, so if the customer wants it repaired, we charge them. Turning the generators away entirely until more information is available. Made good money repairing those. CP never squawked about the price - either paid it by check or credited my account against part purchases.

Did you have a credit still on your account when they belly upped? If so, how did you go about getting a cash check?

Luckily, I was almost even with them when they crashed. Think I owed them $2.13 in the end.

You know, we had gotten a collections letter from a company for them for like $12 or so, and I was like, WTF? What happened to the warranty claim we had that didn't get a check or anything for yet?

Truthfully, I'm sure we won't really miss them.

Nasty, too, wasn't it? I purposely waited a goodly while before paying. The way the letter read, we owed them a million dollars and were trying to get out of it.
